Black Dagger Brotherhood series

Ok so I know there’s all this hype out there right now for vampires, but I have always been a fan. Back in June 09 I started a new book series called the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I really like the series. There’s a group of male vampires who are in charge of protecting the rest of the race. This is not your typical vampire story. For one thing you are not turned into a vampire by being bit. As a vampire you are born human and sometime between you 21st and your 26^th birthday you go through the transition. A human with no vampire in then cannot be turned. Vampires are also not portrayed as evil. They don’t go after humans. Human blood is not strong enough to sustain a vampire.  The vampires go after the lessening society, whom are basically the undead. This is a very adult orientated series so I don’t suggest going out and getting it for your teenager who feel in love with Twilight. There are very detail sex scenes. Each book goes in detail about one of the brothers and the woman he falls in love with. What I like best about these books is the brothers don’t fall in love with the stereotypical model type of woman. It seems to be more of the women who are most opposite to them. Definitely worth picking up and giving these book a try. Read them and comment on my page to let me know what you think about them.
